Trade Exposure Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to exposing youth and communities to skilled trades, creative trades, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and hands-on learning opportunities that inspire confidence, curiosity, and career exploration.

Built on years of community engagement, trade education, and student mentorship, Trade Exposure Network helps connect learning with real-world experiences. Through hands-on demonstrations, workshops, creative skill-building, career exposure events, and industry partnerships, participants gain opportunities to explore pathways they may not otherwise encounter.

We believe exposure creates opportunity. When young people are given the chance to work with tools, create with their hands, learn from professionals, and experience new possibilities firsthand, they begin to see a future that extends beyond their current circumstances.

Through hands-on workshops, guided instruction, mentorship, and community-centered programming, participants are introduced to foundational trade skills, workplace expectations, safety practices, craftsmanship, and career development opportunities. Our programs are designed to build both confidence and competence while exposing participants to pathways that can lead to apprenticeships, certifications, continued training, entrepreneurship, or sustainable careers.

Trade Exposure Network believes exposure changes outcomes. Many young people simply have not had access to environments where practical skills, creativity, and trades-based learning are presented as valuable and attainable futures. By creating spaces rooted in mentorship, discipline, creativity, and real-world experience, we aim to connect curiosity with opportunity.

As industries across Pennsylvania continue to face growing labor shortages, many young people remain disconnected from career pathways that offer long-term stability, competitive wages, entrepreneurship opportunities, and meaningful work. Trade Exposure Network exists to help bridge that gap by creating accessible entry points into practical, skill-based careers often overlooked in traditional education systems.

Our long-term vision is to strengthen communities throughout Pennsylvania by building partnerships with local professionals, organizations, educators, and industry leaders while helping develop the next generation of skilled workers, creators, entrepreneurs, and tradespeople.

A Note From Our Founder

Trade Exposure Network was born from a simple observation: many young people never get the opportunity to see what is possible.

Over the years, I have watched students discover talents they never knew they had simply because someone placed a tool in their hands, introduced them to a new skill, or exposed them to a career they had never considered before.

What starts as curiosity often becomes confidence.

Whether through skilled trades, creative trades, mentorship, entrepreneurship, or hands-on learning experiences, I believe exposure has the power to change the way young people see themselves and their future.

Because before ambition can grow, exposure must come first.
