Before a young person dreams of becoming an electrician, carpenter, designer, entrepreneur, or business owner, they must first know those opportunities exist.

Today, many skilled trades face workforce shortages as experienced workers retire and fewer young people enter the field. At the same time, many students have limited exposure to career pathways outside of traditional college options.

Trade Exposure Network helps bridge that gap by introducing youth to skilled trades, creative trades, mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences that expand their understanding of what is possible.

Exposure is more than introducing someone to a career. It's creating opportunities for young people to discover what they're capable of. 

Sometimes that looks like a student picking up a tool for the first time and realizing they enjoy working with their hands. 

Sometimes it's learning a new sewing technique, completing a project, or meeting a professional who helps them see a future they had never considered before. 

Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and real-world learning opportunities, participants gain more than technical skills. 

They build confidence, develop problem-solving abilities, and begin exploring pathways in skilled trades, creative trades, entrepreneurship, and other career fields. 

Most importantly, they begin to see new possibilities for themselves. Because before ambition can grow, exposure must come first.
